This guide covers what to expect from InMotion Hosting on Black Friday 2026, what it offered last year, what its shared hosting plans cost right now and how to get the best price when the sale starts. As of 13 October 2026, InMotion Hosting has not announced its Black Friday 2026 offer. I will update this post when it goes live.
InMotion Hosting is an American host that has been around for a long time. It sells shared, WordPress, VPS, reseller and dedicated hosting, and it uses the cPanel dashboard that many bloggers already know. For most readers of this blog, the product that matters is shared hosting.
Black Friday is when many hosts run their biggest promotions of the year, so it is a natural time to look. With InMotion, though, the story is a little different from hosts that slash their entry price. Last year its Black Friday page put most of its emphasis on reseller hosting and server products, not on the cheapest shared plan.
A note on how I wrote this. I have not run my own speed tests on InMotion Hosting. The prices and plan details below come from InMotion’s own website, checked on 13 October 2026. Where I rely on another source, I say so, and where I could not confirm something, I say that too.

Key takeaways
- As of 13 October 2026, InMotion has not announced a Black Friday 2026 deal.
- Its Black Friday page, still titled for 2025 when I checked, highlights up to 97% off the first month of reseller hosting and up to 10% off select eco-friendly servers.
- I could not confirm a specific 2025 Black Friday discount on shared hosting from InMotion’s own pages.
- Shared hosting is already discounted today: the Launch plan was listed from $4.79 to $4.99 per month on longer terms, renewing at $13.99 to $14.99 per month.
- Shared plans come with a 90-day money-back guarantee, which is longer than most hosts offer.
- Past offers are not a promise. If you need hosting now, the current price is already a promotional one.

Has InMotion Hosting announced its 2026 Black Friday deal?
No. I checked InMotion’s shared hosting page, its pricing page and its Black Friday page on 13 October 2026. None of them mention a 2026 Black Friday offer. The Black Friday page was still titled “Best Black Friday Web Hosting Deals 2025”, and the shared hosting page showed no seasonal banner at all.
That is normal for mid-October. Most hosts publish their Black Friday pricing in November, sometimes with an early-access period before the day itself. I will check again closer to the sale and update this post when InMotion publishes its 2026 offer.
What InMotion Hosting offered on Black Friday 2025
Here is what I could verify, and what I could not.
InMotion’s own Black Friday page, which was still showing its 2025 title when I checked, lists these offers:
- Reseller hosting: up to 97% off your first month of hosting.
- Eco-friendly servers: up to 10% off select eco-friendly servers.
- Premier Care VPS and dedicated servers: a Premier Care server management bundle, with no discount figure shown.
- Shared and WordPress hosting: listed on the page, but with no price or discount shown.
The page does not give start or end dates, and its only fine print is that a 30 or 90-day money-back guarantee comes with all web hosting plans.
HostScore, a hosting review site, reported that InMotion’s 2025 Black Friday sale included up to 75% off shared hosting and up to 70% off WordPress hosting. I could not find those two figures on InMotion’s own pages, so treat them as a third-party report rather than a confirmed offer. I could not confirm the exact 2025 shared hosting price.
The useful lesson from last year is this: InMotion’s biggest Black Friday percentage was on reseller hosting, and only for the first month. A large percentage on a one-month bill is not the same as a large saving over several years.
Current InMotion Hosting prices (before Black Friday)
These are the shared hosting prices listed on InMotion’s shared hosting page on 13 October 2026, in US dollars.
| Plan | Longer-term price | Renews at | Month-to-month | Websites | Storage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Launch | $4.79 or $4.99 per month | $13.99 or $14.99 per month | $16.99 per month | 2 | 100 GB NVMe |
| Power | $5.79 or $5.99 per month | $17.99 or $18.99 per month | $17.99 per month, renews at $20.99 | 10 | 200 GB NVMe |
| Pro | $10.59 or $10.99 per month | $24.99 or $25.99 per month | $26.99 per month, renews at $27.99 | 40 | 300 GB NVMe |
The page offers 1-year, 2-year and 3-year terms as well as month-to-month. The text I could read did not tie each longer-term price to a specific term, so confirm the term and the total in the cart before you pay.
Every shared plan lists a free domain for the first year (only on 12, 24 or 36-month plans), free SSL, unmetered bandwidth, unlimited email addresses and free website migration. Power and Pro add advanced caching and phone support, and Pro includes a dedicated IP.

Which plan to pick when the sale starts
Decide this now, so you are not choosing in a hurry when the sale page goes live.
- One new blog: Launch covers two websites and 100 GB of storage, which is plenty for a first blog. Note that it lists chat and ticket support only, and advanced caching is not included.
- A blog you plan to grow, or two or three sites: Power is the plan I would look at first. It covers ten websites, adds advanced caching and phone support, and the gap to Launch was about a dollar a month on longer terms.
- Freelancers and small agencies: Pro covers 40 websites, includes WHM access for up to four cPanel accounts and a dedicated IP. A personal blog does not need it.
- People who resell hosting: watch the reseller offer, because that is where InMotion put its biggest number last year.
If you are not sure what kind of hosting a new blog needs, my guide to the best hosting for a new blog explains the options in plain terms.
Watch out
Black Friday discounts apply to your first term only. InMotion’s plans renew at a higher regular price, so read the “renews at” figure before you pay. The free domain needs a 12, 24 or 36-month plan, and if you cancel within the money-back period, the regular domain price is deducted from your refund. Check the cart for add-ons such as extra email or backup services, and remove anything you did not ask for.
How to get the best Black Friday price
- Bookmark the offer. Save my link to InMotion so you can check the price quickly when the sale starts.
- Choose your plan now. Decide between Launch and Power before the sale, based on how many sites you will run.
- Compare the total, not the monthly figure. A low monthly rate on a long term is paid upfront.
- Check the renewal price. Ask yourself whether you would pay it after the first term.
- Pick the data centre. InMotion lists Virginia, California and Amsterdam. Choose the one nearest most of your readers.
- Review the cart. Remove add-ons you do not need.
- Set a reminder. Put a note in your calendar a month before the term ends, and another before the 90-day refund window closes.
Is it worth waiting for Black Friday?
It depends on what you are buying.
If you want shared hosting for a blog, the saving from waiting may be small. InMotion’s shared plans are already sold at an introductory price, and I could not confirm that last year’s Black Friday sale cut the shared price further. If you are ready to start your blog this week, I would not delay it for an uncertain discount. Six weeks of writing is worth more than a few dollars.
If you are buying reseller hosting or a server, waiting makes more sense, because those were the products InMotion promoted most on its Black Friday page last year.
The 90-day money-back guarantee also changes the calculation. If you buy now and a clearly better deal appears in November, you have time to think about your options. Read the refund terms first, because domain fees are handled separately.
Whatever you decide, the hosting is only the first step. My guide on how to start a blog covers what to do after you have paid.
