Astra Pro and the Astra toolkits are among the WordPress products most often bought during Black Friday, partly because Astra still sells lifetime licences. This guide covers what Astra has said about 2026 so far, what it offered last year, today’s prices and how to choose the right plan before the sale. As of 13 October 2026, Astra has not announced its Black Friday 2026 offer. I will update this post when it goes live.
Astra is a free WordPress theme made by Brainstorm Force. The paid part is Astra Pro, an add-on that unlocks extra modules, and a set of bundles that add AI site building, hosting, Spectra Pro and premium templates.
That range of plans is exactly why Black Friday planning helps here. A discount looks very different on a $69 add-on than on a $799 lifetime toolkit, and the bundles already show a first-year discount today. If you know which plan you need before the sale opens, you can judge the offer in seconds.

Has Astra announced its 2026 Black Friday deal?
No. Astra’s Black Friday page shows its normal pricing with no sale banner, and the pricing page shows no limited-time offer. The only discount language on the pricing page is the note that the bundle prices are “special introductory pricing” and that “all renewals are at full price”.
So there is nothing to buy yet that is tied to Black Friday. Any site quoting an exact 2026 Astra discount today is guessing. I will update this section when Astra publishes its offer.
What Astra offered on Black Friday 2025
This one I could confirm from Brainstorm Force’s own website. Its WordPress Black Friday deals page, which also lists other brands, listed:
- Astra: up to 40% off, with the discount applied automatically, valid from 17 November to 5 December 2025.
- Astra Business Toolkit: also up to 40% off, over the same dates.
WCBoost’s 2025 deals list reported the same thing: up to 40% off all Astra plans, auto-applied, from 17 November to 5 December 2025.
One caution. The FAQ section of the same Brainstorm Force page mentions “Astra (up to 50%)”, which does not match the 40% shown in the deal listing. I am treating 40% as the figure, because it appears in the listing and in a second, independent source. The page does not say which plans got the highest discount, which is what “up to” usually hides.
Past offers are not a promise. Astra may offer a different discount, different dates or different plans this year.
Current Astra prices (before Black Friday)
These are the prices listed on Astra’s pricing page on 13 October 2026, in US dollars. The figure in brackets is the crossed-out regular price shown next to it.

For the add-on only plan, the pricing page shows no different renewal price, so I have listed it at the same $69. The page also says your renewal rate is fixed at the time of purchase and will not increase beyond the amounts shown.
What the bundles add, in short:
- Astra Pro + AI adds AI site building and editing, one hosted site and a domain for the first year.
- Essential Toolkit + AI adds Spectra Pro, more than 300 premium starter templates and Ultimate Addons for Elementor.
- Business Toolkit + AI covers up to 1,000 sites and adds agency tools and VIP support.
On lifetime plans, the toolkit is yours permanently, but the pricing page says the AI platform and included hosting run for three years and then renew yearly.
Which plan to pick when the sale starts
- One blog, no page builder. Astra Pro add-on only is enough. You get every Astra Pro module without paying for AI tools or hosting you will not use.
- You plan to keep Astra for years. Look hard at the lifetime licence. At today’s prices, $249 is about three and a half years of the $69 annual plan, before any Black Friday discount.
- You build with Elementor. The Essential Toolkit includes Ultimate Addons for Elementor and the premium templates, which is where the extra cost pays off.
- Freelancers and agencies. The Business Toolkit makes sense only if you manage many client sites.
- You want the leanest theme. Compare first. My Astra vs GeneratePress comparison sets out the differences.
Watch out
The bundle prices are already introductory first-year prices, and they renew at full price, roughly 50% higher. A Black Friday percentage may be measured against the higher regular price, so compare the amount you actually pay at checkout with the table above. Check what the AI and hosting parts of a lifetime plan cost after three years. And remember the refund window is only 14 days.
How to get the best Black Friday price
- Bookmark the pricing page. Last year the sale started on 17 November, ten days before Black Friday.
- Decide on your plan now. Add-on only, a bundle or lifetime. Write down today’s price for it.
- Compare the real price, not the percentage. Check the checkout total against today’s figure.
- Check the renewal line. Look for the renewal price shown at checkout, and note it.
- Weigh lifetime against yearly. A discounted lifetime licence can be the biggest saving if you will stay with Astra.
- Use the link on this page. It goes to Astra’s own site, where any live discount should apply automatically.
- Test it within 14 days. Install Astra Pro straight away so you can still ask for a refund if it is not right.
Is it worth waiting for Black Friday?
For most people, yes, and the reason is the free theme. You can install free Astra today, import a free starter template and build your whole blog. Nothing stops you working while you wait for the sale. If you have not set up WordPress yet, start with my guide on how to install WordPress.
Waiting makes even more sense if you are considering a lifetime licence or one of the larger toolkits, where a discount saves the most money.
The exception is a deadline. If you need a specific Astra Pro feature for a client site this month, buying now is reasonable, because the add-on only plan is not expensive to begin with. And remember that I cannot tell you what this year’s discount will be. Nobody can until Astra announces it.
