Hosting.com Black Friday 2026: what to expect and how to save

Hosting.com, the company that used to trade as A2 Hosting, is one of the hosts people watch every Black Friday. This guide explains what was reported for its 2025 sale, what the official site shows right now and how to judge the deal when it arrives. As of 20 October 2026, Hosting.com has not announced its Black Friday 2026 offer.

If you knew the brand as A2 Hosting, the plans, the support and the account area are the same company under a new name. My Pretty Link for A2 Hosting now opens hosting.com, which is why you will see both names in older reviews and deal lists.

Black Friday hosting deals look simple, but the small print matters. Some discounts apply to the first month only, some only to annual plans, and almost all of them renew at the normal price. This guide sorts that out before the countdown timers start.

A note on how I wrote this. I have not run my own speed tests on Hosting.com, so there are no benchmark numbers here. Facts about the current plans come from Hosting.com’s own website, checked on 20 October 2026. Facts about last year’s sale come from deal sites that tracked it, and I say so each time.

Key takeaways

  • As of 20 October 2026, Hosting.com has not announced a Black Friday 2026 offer, and its web hosting page shows no Black Friday banner.
  • Deal trackers reported a 2025 sale built around managed WordPress hosting for $1 for the first month.
  • One tracker also reported 50% off annual managed WordPress plans, from 3 November to 1 December 2025.
  • The official shared hosting page lists three tiers, for 5, 10 and 50 websites.
  • Hosting.com lists a 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • Past offers are not a promise. Use last year’s sale as a guide to its shape, not its numbers.

Has Hosting.com announced its 2026 Black Friday deal?

No. When I checked the Hosting.com web hosting page on 20 October 2026, there was no Black Friday or Cyber Monday promotion on it. The only mention of Black Friday was a blog post about checking your own online shop before the shopping rush, which is not a sale.

Several deal sites already have “Hosting.com Black Friday 2026” pages, but the one I read says plainly that none of the deals are live yet. Treat any 2026 discount figure you see before the official launch as a guess.

As of 20 October 2026, Hosting.com has not announced its Black Friday 2026 offer. I will update this post when it goes live.

What Hosting.com offered on Black Friday 2025

I could not find an official Hosting.com page or press release describing the 2025 sale, so everything in this section comes from deal trackers. Two of them agree on the main offer.

  • HostScore listed the 2025 deal as up to 99% off managed WordPress hosting, starting at $1 for the first month. It described it as a first-month-only deal, with plans returning to standard pricing after the introductory period.
  • Kripesh Adwani’s deal page said the 2025 sale ran from 3 November to 1 December 2025. It listed $1 for the first month on monthly managed WordPress plans and 50% off annual managed WordPress plans, starting at $7.50 per month, with the discount applied automatically.

The headline “99% off” therefore came from a $1 first month. That is a cheap way to try the service, but it says very little about what you will pay from month two. The annual discount is the figure that matters if you plan to stay.

What Hosting.com sells right now

The official web hosting page lists three shared hosting tiers. The fetched page did not show the prices, so I have left them out rather than guess. Check the current price in the cart through the link below.

TierWebsitesStorageWhat the page says it adds
Starter515 GB NVMeAI website builder for WordPress, email, free SSL, free domain registration, malware detection and removal, free managed migration, daily backups
Middle tier (marked “Most popular”)1050 GB NVMeEverything in Starter, plus more CPU and RAM, staging sites, preview URLs and Node.js support
Top tier50100 GB NVMeEverything in the middle tier, plus the highest CPU and RAM, 40 mailboxes, a service level agreement, a premium SSL certificate and priority support

The page also mentions a 30-day money-back guarantee. Read the refund terms at checkout, because hosts usually exclude domain fees and some add-ons.

Which plan to pick when the sale starts

  • One new blog. The Starter tier already covers 5 websites, which is more than a first blog needs. Start here.
  • A small portfolio of sites. The middle tier adds staging, which is useful once you edit live sites that earn money. Choose it if you will test changes before publishing.
  • Agencies and heavy users. The top tier is for people who already run many sites and want priority support.
  • WordPress only, little time. Last year’s best-reported offers were on managed WordPress plans. If you want updates and setup handled for you, watch that product line.

If you are still deciding between hosts, my guide to the best hosting for a new blog compares cheaper starting points, and the Hostinger Black Friday guide covers a popular budget alternative.

Watch out

  • $1 is for one month. A first-month deal tells you nothing about the price from month two. Look for the regular monthly price before you pay.
  • Renewals are at standard rates. Deal trackers reported that 2025 plans returned to standard pricing after the introductory term.
  • Annual means annual. A 50% discount on a yearly plan is paid upfront for the whole year.
  • Extras in the cart. Untick add-ons you did not plan to buy.
  • Domains are rarely refundable. Check the refund terms if a free domain is included.

How to get the best Black Friday price

  1. Bookmark the offer now. Save my link and check back in November. Last year’s sale was reported to start in early November, earlier than most hosts.
  2. Decide monthly or annual in advance. A $1 month is good for testing. An annual discount is better if you already know you will stay.
  3. Count your sites. Pick the tier that fits the sites you have now, not the ones you might build.
  4. Check the renewal price. Find the standard monthly price and multiply it by twelve. That is your real cost from year two.
  5. Use the 30 days. Install WordPress, move one site and test it during the refund window.

Is it worth waiting for Black Friday?

If your current hosting runs until December or later, yes. The 2025 sale was reported to run for almost the whole of November, so you lose very little by waiting.

If you need hosting this week, I would not wait. A launch delayed by six weeks costs more in lost writing time than any discount saves. Buy a short term now and move to a longer plan during the sale if the numbers are better.

Whatever host you pick, the setup steps are the same. My guide on how to start a blog walks through the whole process, and how to install WordPress covers the technical part.
