InterServer is an American web host best known for one promise: the price you sign up at is the price you keep. That makes its Black Friday story different from most hosts, so this guide explains what I could confirm, what InterServer’s price lock means for you and whether waiting for a sale makes sense. As of 20 October 2026, InterServer has not announced a Black Friday 2026 offer.
InterServer sells shared web hosting, WordPress hosting, VPS, dedicated servers and cloud Windows hosting. Most budget hosts tempt you with a low first-term price and then renew at several times that amount. InterServer’s homepage instead says, in its own words: “The price you sign up for is your guaranteed price for the life of the account.”
That changes the maths. With a normal host, the Black Friday discount disappears at renewal. With a price lock, the price you start at is the price you keep, so the starting price matters for the life of the account.
A note on how I wrote this. I have not run my own speed tests on InterServer. Facts below come from InterServer’s own homepage, checked on 20 October 2026. Some of InterServer’s plan pages could not be read when I checked, so I have not listed shared hosting prices that I could not confirm.

Has InterServer announced its 2026 Black Friday deal?
No. When I checked InterServer’s homepage on 20 October 2026, there was no Black Friday, Cyber Monday, promo or coupon text on it.
As of 20 October 2026, InterServer has not announced a Black Friday 2026 offer. I will update this post if it does.
What InterServer offered on Black Friday 2025
I could not confirm an official 2025 Black Friday sale from InterServer. I found deal sites with “InterServer Black Friday” pages, but the one I read in detail, dated 6 November 2025, described the deals as not live yet and listed expected discounts rather than confirmed ones. I have not repeated those numbers here, because they were predictions.
That fits InterServer’s general approach. Its main selling point is a steady price rather than seasonal discounts. Past offers are not a promise in any case.
What the price lock means for you
Here is why the price lock matters more than a one-off discount.
- Typical budget host. You pay a low price for the first term, then the plan renews at the regular rate, often several times higher.
- InterServer. The price you sign up at is the price for the life of the account, according to its homepage.
So when you compare InterServer with a Black Friday deal from another host, compare the cost over three to five years, not the first month. A host with a cheap first year and an expensive renewal can cost more in total than a steady price.
The homepage also listed Cloud Windows Hosting at $5.00 per month. For InterServer’s Linux shared and WordPress hosting, check the current price on the site, because I could not read those plan pages on the day I checked.
Who InterServer suits
- Bloggers who hate renewal surprises. The price lock is the main reason to choose InterServer.
- People planning to stay for years. The longer you stay, the more the price lock is worth compared with a first-term discount elsewhere.
- People who want the lowest first year. A Black Friday deal from another host may be cheaper for year one. Compare the total over several years before deciding.
To compare options, read my guide to the best hosting for a new blog, and look at the renewal prices in my Hostinger and FastComet Black Friday guides.
Watch out
- Read what the price lock covers. It applies to the account price you sign up for. Check how upgrades and add-ons are priced.
- Do not compare first months only. Compare the total cost over the years you plan to stay.
- Ignore unofficial coupon lists. Use codes only if InterServer itself shows them.
- Use the 30 days. Test the service while the refund guarantee applies.
How to get the best price
- Check the current price. Open InterServer’s plans through my link and note the price for the plan you need.
- Work out the multi-year cost. Multiply the monthly price by 36 for a three-year view.
- Do the same for any Black Friday rival. Use the first-term price plus the renewal price.
- Check InterServer again in Black Friday week. If it does run a promotion, the locked price would be even better.
- Test within 30 days. Move your site and check it during the guarantee period.
Is it worth waiting for Black Friday?
For InterServer, probably not. I could not confirm a past Black Friday sale, and the value comes from the locked price rather than a seasonal discount. If you like the price you see today, there is little reason to wait. When you are ready, my guides on how to start a blog and how to install WordPress cover the setup.
