Avada is the best-selling theme on ThemeForest, with more than a million sales, and many buyers wait for Black Friday hoping for a discount. This guide explains how Avada is sold, what it costs today, what I could and could not confirm about last year’s sale and how to buy it sensibly. As of 20 October 2026, there is no announced Black Friday 2026 discount on Avada.
Avada is different from most themes I cover because you do not buy it from the developer’s own shop. It is sold through ThemeForest, part of Envato Market, so the price, licence and support rules are set by Envato’s marketplace.
That also means Black Friday works differently. Envato runs its own seasonal sales, and individual authors decide whether to put their items in them. A discount on “themes” in general does not automatically mean a discount on Avada.
Every Avada fact below comes from its ThemeForest page, checked on 20 October 2026.

Has Avada announced a 2026 Black Friday deal?
No. When I checked Avada’s ThemeForest page on 20 October 2026, the regular licence was listed at its normal $69, with no sale banner. The only discount shown was on the support extension, which ThemeForest shows as a reduced price when you add it at the time of purchase.
As of 20 October 2026, there is no announced Black Friday 2026 discount on Avada. I will update this post if that changes.
What happened on Black Friday 2025
I could not confirm that Avada itself was discounted on Black Friday 2025. I checked the Post Status list of 2025 WordPress deals, which includes several ThemeForest sales, and Avada did not appear in it.
What I could confirm is Envato’s own Cyber Sale. A design news site reported on 1 December 2025 that Envato was offering 25% off the first year of any annual Envato subscription plan, with no code needed, ending on 2 December 2025 at 10 am UTC. That is a discount on the Envato subscription, not on ThemeForest items such as Avada.
So the honest answer is: an Avada discount on Black Friday is possible but not something I can promise from past evidence. Past offers are not a promise in any case.
Current Avada price (before Black Friday)
These details are from Avada’s ThemeForest page on 20 October 2026.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Regular licence | $69, before tax and handling fees |
| Extended licence | $2,950 |
| Sales | 1,073,578 |
| Rating | 4.78 stars from 26.6K reviews |
| Last update | 30 September 2026, announcing Avada 7.16 |
| Support included | 6 months from the date of purchase |
| Support extension | Extend to 12 months, shown at $21.38 at checkout |
For a blog, the regular licence is the right one. The extended licence is for products where end users are charged, which almost no blogger needs.
Is Avada right for a blog?
Avada is a big, all-in-one theme. It comes with its own page builder and a large library of pre-built demos, which is great if you want to design many different page layouts without extra plugins.
For a simple content blog, I usually suggest a lighter theme instead, because a smaller theme is easier to keep fast. My list of the best WordPress themes for bloggers and my GeneratePress review explain that choice. If you want a visual builder, compare Avada with the options in my Elementor and Divi Black Friday guides.
Watch out
- Tax and fees are extra. The $69 price does not include tax and Envato’s handling fee.
- Support is time-limited. Updates continue, but author support ends after 6 months unless you extend it.
- One licence, one site. A regular licence is for a single end product.
- Envato sale is not an Avada sale. Check the Avada page itself for a reduced price.
How to get the best price
- Check the Avada page during the sale. Look for a reduced licence price on the item page itself.
- Decide on support at checkout. Extending support when you buy is cheaper than renewing it later, according to the price shown on the page.
- Buy the regular licence. Do not pay for the extended licence unless you sell a product built with the theme.
- Check the total. Look at the final amount with tax and fees before paying.
Is it worth waiting for Black Friday?
If you are not in a hurry, check the Avada page during Black Friday week, because ThemeForest authors can join seasonal sales. But since I could not confirm an Avada discount last year, I would not delay a project for it. At $69 for a theme that includes future updates, a possible saving of a few dollars is not worth weeks of waiting.
