Has AppSumo announced its 2026 Black Friday sale?
Not the dates. AppSumo’s Black Friday page was live when I checked on 20 October 2026, but it showed individual deals with their own countdowns rather than a single sale with fixed dates. It offered 10% off your first purchase if you sign up for deal alerts, and it repeated the 60-day money-back promise.

How AppSumo’s Black Friday 2025 sale worked
I could not find AppSumo’s own 2025 terms page, so this section relies on a detailed guide from 99signals, last updated on 2 December 2025, which tracked the sale while it ran.
- Dates. The guide’s FAQ gives 17 November 2025 at 4 pm Central Time to 1 December 2025 at noon Central Time. Its introduction says 2 December, so the end date shifted by a day depending on which part you read.
- Plus members. AppSumo Plus is a paid membership. The guide says Plus members got extra days of access after the main sale and an additional 10% off every tool they bought. It gives both 3 and 4 extra days in different places.
- Limited stock. The guide warned that inventory for Black Friday deals was limited and that prices could increase early.
The useful lesson is the shape of the sale: it opens about ten days before Black Friday, runs to Cyber Monday and rewards people who already know what they want. Past offers are not a promise.
