WP Rocket’s Black Friday sale is one of the few times a year its price drops, so it is worth planning for. This guide covers what WP Rocket has said about 2026 so far, what it offered last year, what it costs today and how to get the best deal when the sale starts. As of 13 October 2026, WP Rocket has not announced its Black Friday 2026 offer. I will update this post when it goes live.

WP Rocket is a paid caching plugin with no free version. That makes it a natural Black Friday purchase: you pay for a year of updates and support, and any discount on that first year is real money saved.

The difficulty is that most Black Friday pages about WP Rocket are written before the sale and filled with guesses. I want this one to be useful instead. Below I separate what WP Rocket has confirmed, what other sites reported about the 2025 sale, and the prices you can see on its pricing page today.

Every fact here was checked on 13 October 2026. I have not run my own speed tests for this guide. If you want to know what the plugin does before you buy, read my full WP Rocket review first.

Key takeaways

  • WP Rocket has a Black Friday 2026 page with a reminder sign-up, but no discount, dates or prices have been announced yet.
  • Black Friday falls on 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday on 30 November 2026.
  • For Black Friday 2025, Elegant Themes reported 40% off all WP Rocket licences from 13 November to 3 December 2025, with no coupon code. Past offers are not a promise.

  • There is a 14-day free trial. The 14-day refund does not cover the first payment after a trial.

Has WP Rocket announced its 2026 Black Friday deal?

Not yet. WP Rocket has a page called “Black Friday Sale 2026” on its own site. It calls the sale “our biggest discount of the year” and asks you to leave your email address for a reminder when it begins. It does not state a percentage, a start date or any sale prices.

So the honest answer is that a 2026 sale looks likely, but its terms are unknown. Any site that tells you the exact 2026 discount today is guessing. I will update this section as soon as WP Rocket publishes the details.

What WP Rocket offered on Black Friday 2025

I could not find the 2025 offer on WP Rocket’s own website, because its Black Friday page has already been changed for 2026. These are the details reported by other sites at the time.

  • Elegant Themes, in a deals post published on 20 November 2025, wrote that you could “get 40% off all licenses with no coupon code required”, valid from 13 November to 3 December 2025.
  • WCBoost listed the same 40% discount and the same dates, with the discount applied automatically.
  • WP Marmite listed 40% off “all new licenses” from 13 November to 3 December.

One other roundup, published by Brainstorm Force, gave slightly different dates of 19 November to 4 December 2025. So treat the dates as approximate. The 40% figure was consistent across every source I checked.

Two points from this matter for 2026. First, the sale started well before Black Friday itself and ran into December. Second, at least one source described it as a discount on new licences, so do not assume it applies to a renewal of a licence you already have.

Past offers are not a promise. WP Rocket may offer more, less or something different this year.

Current WP Rocket prices (before Black Friday)

These are the plans listed on WP Rocket’s pricing page on 13 October 2026, in US dollars. Taxes may apply depending on your country.

PlanWebsitesListed priceRenewal
Single1$59.95 per yearBilled yearly. No separate renewal price is shown
Plus3$119.95 per yearBilled yearly. No separate renewal price is shown
Multi50, with 100 and 500 site options$299.95 per year for 50 sitesBilled yearly. No separate renewal price is shown

Every plan includes the same features, a year of updates and support, and Rocket Insights for monitoring. The only difference is the number of websites. If you need more than 500 sites, WP Rocket asks you to contact it for a custom licence.

The pricing page also says that if you want to add more sites later, you can upgrade and pay the difference.

Which plan to pick when the sale starts

Decide this now, so you are not choosing in a hurry when the countdown timers appear.

  • One blog. The Single plan is all you need. Every feature is included, so a higher plan only buys you more sites.
  • Two or three sites. Plus covers three websites for exactly twice the price of Single. If you run a second blog or plan to start one within the year, it is the better value.
  • Freelancers and agencies. Multi makes sense only if you manage many client sites. Count your sites honestly before you pay for 50.
  • Sites on LiteSpeed hosting. If your host runs LiteSpeed servers, try the free LiteSpeed Cache plugin first. You may not need WP Rocket at all.

Watch out

A Black Friday discount usually covers the first year only. WP Rocket’s pricing page does not show a separate renewal price, so expect to pay the normal yearly price when your licence renews. If you start with the free trial, the 14-day refund does not apply to the first payment after the trial ends. And if your licence expires, the plugin keeps working, but updates, support and server-based features stop.

How to get the best Black Friday price

  1. Sign up for the reminder. WP Rocket’s Black Friday page offers an email reminder. Last year the sale started in mid-November, before Black Friday.
  2. Choose your plan in advance. Count your sites now and pick Single, Plus or Multi before the sale opens.
  3. Check what the discount covers. Read whether it applies to new licences only, and whether it covers the first year only.
  4. Note the renewal price. Put a reminder in your calendar a month before the licence renews, so you can decide calmly whether to keep it.
  5. Decide about the trial. If you buy during the sale without a trial, you keep the 14-day refund. If you trial first, the first charge is not refundable.
  6. Use the link on this page. It goes to WP Rocket’s own site, where any live discount should be shown.
  7. Take a backup before installing. Remove your old caching plugin first. Two caching plugins at once cause conflicts.

Is it worth waiting for Black Friday?

It depends on how urgent your speed problem is.

If your site is slow today and readers are leaving, do not wait six weeks to save on a plugin. Start the 14-day free trial now. You can test WP Rocket on your own site and still cancel before you are charged. Just be aware that the trial and the sale may not combine, so read the sale terms when they appear.

If your site is fine for now and you are planning ahead, waiting makes sense. Last year’s reported discount was 40%, which on the Single plan would be a meaningful saving on the first year. But I cannot tell you what this year’s discount will be, and nobody else can until WP Rocket announces it.

One more thought. Caching helps most when your hosting is decent and your images are compressed. If your hosting is the real bottleneck, better hosting will do more than any plugin. My guide to the best hosting for a new blog explains what to look for. For the other plugins worth having, see my list of essential WordPress plugins for bloggers.

Frequently asked questions

When does the WP Rocket Black Friday 2026 sale start?

WP Rocket has not announced the dates. Black Friday is on 27 November 2026, and last year’s sale was reported to start on 13 November 2025, so it may begin before Black Friday. Sign up for the reminder on WP Rocket’s Black Friday page to be told when it starts.

No. As of 13 October 2026, WP Rocket has a Black Friday 2026 page with a reminder sign-up, but it does not state any discount, dates or prices.

What was WP Rocket’s Black Friday deal in 2025?

Elegant Themes and WCBoost reported 40% off all licences from 13 November to 3 December 2025, with no coupon code needed. I could not confirm it on WP Rocket’s own site, because its Black Friday page now shows 2026.

Does the WP Rocket Black Friday discount apply to renewals?

I could not confirm this for 2026. One source described the 2025 discount as applying to new licences, so do not assume an existing licence will renew at the sale price.

WP Rocket’s refund policy gives you 14 days if you buy without a free trial. If you start with the trial, the first payment after the trial ends is not covered by the refund.
